"I work with people who are serious about life-change, finding highest career expression, eliminating self-sabotage blocks, and wanting to make a difference in the world"
After having begun a serious study in Cosmobiology (a German system of astrology) with a private teacher, Malcolm Utley, in 1976 (following a childhood fascination with astrology and the night sky), Kerrie later graduated within a formal course in the Western Tropical astrology system with the innovative and inspirational Garry Wiseman, in 1986; and has been an astrological researcher since that time.
Over the course of two decades, Kerrie developed her own system of astrology incorporating ancient Yogacara Buddhist psychological philosophy (becoming a practising Buddhist in the Tibetan tradition officially in 1996). She taught many concurrent two-year courses in astrology in various areas of Sydney Australia from 1991 through 1997 (before leaving Sydney to focus on writing her book), and also teaching a condensed course later in Canberra.
Kerrie became a Reiki channel in 1986, receiving Levels One and Two separately that year. She received Level Three in 1996, and became a Reiki Master/Teacher/Sensei in January 1997. Kerrie firmly believes in honouring the Buddhist roots of Reiki* and teaches ‘BodhiMind Reiki Courses’ from the Buddhist perspective of healing and consciousness. This also includes information on the Buddhist Deities involved in Reiki and healing generally. (See her Blog article ‘Reiki and the Medicine Buddha Mystery’ on this site for more information on the concept of Buddhist Deities.) More details on Kerrie’s personal Reiki history are on the Reiki Biography page of her website.
After being introduced to Flower Essence Therapy in 1984, Kerrie initially experimented on herself, and then close friends, until 1986 when she began working with flower essences for her clients. Kerrie now incorporates seven ranges from around the world in her clinical work, and had spent two years (from late 1999 to 2001) designing 90 comprehensive formulas to assist with the major challenges involved in battling self-sabotage patterns that interfere with altruistically-motivated careers, personal relationship dynamics, and physical health.
Kerrie has now expanded her work to offer more ongoing support within smaller time-frames for clients, via several mediums (Internet voice-call, telephone, email, or personal sessions), to suit. This is her obligation-free BodhiMind Support Program™, which is open to both existing clients and new clients. (See the BodhiMind Support Program page of her website for details about this opportunity.)
You can find two full-length Australian TV episodes of Kerrie’s extensive interviewes by Robyn Walker on the popular TV program, ‘Conversations With Robyn’ on wasabitv.com.au.
Kerrie has also been interviewed on several Australian radio programs; has lectured to metaphysical, healing, and conference groups; and has written published articles for international magazines (some of which appear on the Archive Articles page of her website); and has had essays published in two anthologies: Ian White’s Australian Bush Flower Healing, and Sophia Fairchild’s Planet Whispers: Wisdom From Soul Travelers Around the World (recently released by Soul Wings® Press, December 2011).
Kerrie is currently writing a series of research books on Astrology, Buddhist Yogacara philosophy, and consciousness, with emphasis on the Bodhisattva Path. (You can see a synopsis of this work on her website.) Some of these books will be initially released as e-books via Kerrie’s website. (You can sign up for her e-Newsletter in the Form on the right sidebar here to receive information on the publishing dates for all these works, plus more astrological snippets.)
